Stories like these deal with some interesting scares and thrills. I'm sure there is not a man among us who has wonder what it was like to be a girl. These type of stories give us a outside/inside view of a woman with some interesting aspect that we guys don't normally think about. If you loved Ranma 1/2 you will love it.
Storyline & Narrative
What happens when you help save a old man from being beat up by 3 little kids? In Megumi Amatsuka he is given a book that has mystical powers. When a wish back fires and transforms the young boy into a girl only his closest friend Miki Hanakain remembers him being a boy.
Characters & Dynamics
Megumi Amatsuka
This is the main character from the story who ends up transforming into a girl. It is interesting watching the conflict between guy and girl in him. One of the main aspects is he aka she loves to fight. This got her in trouble in junior high when looks weren't that great. However in High School she's drop dead gorges.
Miki Hanakain
She is the caring friend of Megumi and only one to remember him ever being a guy. Miki goes through the challenge of trying to teach Megumi to be more lady like when all he wants to do is fight and act like a guy. To me Miki is the silent bob that gets pulled into all the painful mistakes that Megumi causes.
Genzo Soga
When I watch Genzo I see al ot of the character Spike within him. It almost makes you wonder how many aspects of other characters are in animes. Soga is and will always be a fighter. His first contact with Megumi is after picking on a helpless girl. Soga the macho type thinks that he can take on anything until he gets kicked in the balls by Megumi. Then his only mission becomes revenge.
Ichiro Fujiki
Ichiro has not had a very good life. He had a reputation of being weird in Junior high. The aspect of Ichiro is plan and simple he is your average guy that looks like a geek and tries to play cool to the ladies when the right time comes up. After first sight of Megumi he falls in love with her along with every other guy in the school.
Tasuke Yasuda
What series can not be complete without a pervert in it? Tasuka takes the part in all ways. If you love the big pervert then you are going to love Tasuke. He tries to get Megumi attention in all the wrong ways.
Animation & Visual Direction
When it comes to animation if it isn't Japanese anime then it isn't animation. Like all the others this has some great animation. I've seen so many anime's that the line blurs together. The true question is however is it the animation that you want or the story-line? In this case both are great!
Voice Acting & Soundtrack
What can I say all japanese people sound a like. The voices on these match the characters of the series pretty good. I think you will fall in love with them.
