Storyline & Narrative
As SEELE launches an all-out military assault on NERV to force Human Instrumentality, Asuka battles the terrifying Mass Production Evas to the death. When Shinji is placed into Unit-01, the Instrumentality Project begins, collapsing all human souls into a single ocean of primordial LCL. Shinji is forced to choose between the eternal oblivion of merged consciousness and the painful reality of individual existence.
