Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust

This venture of the mighty Dhampir hunter D, takes place about 2000 years or so (I believe) after the first, so you won't really be seeing any recurring characters, other than D and his hand, but for all those who didn't think much of the first, this one's something you've just GOTTA see, it's really quite the work.

D is hired to get a girl back from a vampire who's taken her from her bed while sleeping. He's being watched by snipers through the entire conversation and finds out that they want her back, dead or alive, and not only that, but D's got competition. While it may seem cut and dry, you'll figure out that little twists and turns take place, keeping the story vivid.

D - The Dhampir hunter, feared and revered, and has one hell of a reputation by now. Still pretty quiet, he says somthing when he feels it's neccesary.

D's hand - D's hand is still the comedic relief for the most part, and helps him out in a few places, except in this one he actually does the comedic releif WELL, and the voice actor is much better than in the first.

The Markus Brothers - A team of vampire hunters who also have a mean reputation, these guys are possibly a group of the coolest characters i've ever seen. Just wait till you see Grover.

Meier Link - The vampire baddie in this one, alot younger than Count Magnus from the first, but alot cooler.

Camilla - The damsel in distress of this little picture, and generally not much for talking, but not a bad character.

The Barbarois - A group of monsterous individuals, and i'll leave it at that to avoid any spoilage.

The animation in Bloodlust is among the best i've seen, and it gladdens my heart to see the good characters of Vampire Hunter D finally get the animation they deserve. Perfect score here.

The voice acting's excellent as far as i'm concerned, all the voices fit their characters perfectly, and D and his hand still have the great sounding voices that links them to the previous, while the acting's good for everyone else as well.
