All Purpose Cultural Catgirl Nuku Nuku
Overview
This anime has a pretty good story, character design, animation sequence, and color palette. The voice acting is a definite plus. For example Hayashibara Megumi as Nuku Nuku, Hisakawa Aya as Arisa (one of Akiko's lackeys T_T), Kamiya Akira as the mad scientist Kyusaku, and more.
Storyline & Narrative
The heartwarming story of a boy and his cat... and a major Military Equipment Manufacturer (intro from trailer). While trying to escape from Mishima Heavy Industries (a primarily technological firm run by his wife, Akiko) with his most advanced creation in biotechnology, Kyusaku Natsume makes a stop with his son, Ryunosuke. Ryu-buddy picks up a cat but she gets injured when Akiko's goons take out their frustration of losing them on the car pile they are hiding under. Kyusaku decides to give his son the best Christmas present he can... by transplanting the cat's brain into his android! Now a year later, Nuku Nuku is Ryunosuke's best friend. Unfortunately, she still thinks and acts like a cat whenever she sees a mouse or a new playmate - one of MHI's new machines that has come to destroy Nuku Nuku and return Ryunosuke to his mother. As Nuku Nuku would say... Meow!
Characters & Dynamics
Characters...good! I like them, really. Especially Nuku Nuku. The problem is nudity.
Animation & Visual Direction
The animation sequence is great as i would say.
